A four-day gathering that brings together groups of international curators

Since 2011, Vessel Art Project has been running International Curatorial Workshop. Conceived as an attempt to re-think educational models and to test what a self-organised curatorial para-institution can do in a peripheral context, ICW consists of a four-day gathering that brings together groups of international curators willing to explore different questions such as: curating as a situated practice, the legacy of institutional critique in contemporary institutional and non- institutional practices, curatorial approaches to socially engaged art, self-education and hospitality as a site for knowledge production.
